Our practice was formerly owned by Dr. Daniel Turner and was known as Daniel W. Turner, DDS, PA. Dr. Turner is a Charlotte native who helped build South Park Mall during his teenage years! He started his dental practice from scratch in 1981 in a building that is now occupied by Whole Foods in South Park, and moved to its current location on Park South Drive, less than a mile away, in 2008. In 2021, he hired Dr. Brown as an associate, and in 2022, he officially passed the baton to Dr. Brown, who has been working tirelessly to carry on Dr. Turner’s legacy and take care of his patients along with many new faces. Dr. Turner was known for his humble demeanor, sense of humor, and love of the University of Tennessee.
In addition to a big renovation in 2023, Dr. Brown has been working to update the technology of the practice and ensure we have a great team in place to take care of your dental needs. In 2024, we launched the name “Parkview Dentistry” to honor our neighborhood (near the intersection of Park and Fairview Roads) and simplify the name. It has been known as “Brittany R. Brown, DMD, PLLC”.
Our waiting room was designed to portray the coziness and nostalgia of “the dentist you grew up going to” in hopes of making you feel at home at your neighborhood dental practice. Old dental photographs and advertisements from the mid-1900s are displayed throughout the room, along with soothing colors and “feel-good” music. The practice amenities include easy parking, WiFi, paperless check-in, magazines, and blankets, all in a calming environment. We can’t wait to show you around!
