Exams and Cleanings
We recommend exams twice a year to best monitor your oral health. For periodontal (or gum) health, it is essential to manage plaque effectively. If plaque is left on the teeth for too long, it can harden into tartar, leading to potential gum disease. We recommend professional cleanings every six months alongside diligent home care to prevent tartar buildup. If we notice signs of gum inflammation or disease, we will demonstrate proper brushing and flossing techniques and may recommend a deep cleaning, known as Scaling and Root Planing. This procedure involves numbing the area for your comfort while we thoroughly remove tartar from beneath the gums to halt the disease process.

Tooth-Colored Fillings
At our practice, when cavities are detected, Dr. Brown will recommend treatments such as fillings or crowns to address the decay. We use tooth-colored, resin-based fillings that blend seamlessly with the natural tooth surface, offering a more aesthetically pleasing alternative to older silver amalgam fillings. Dr. Brown is passionate about educating her patients on the causes of cavities and the importance of timely treatment, utilizing a conservative approach to preserve as much natural tooth structure as possible.

Invisalign
In terms of misalignment, we offer Invisalign as a trusted clear aligner orthodontic option. While we are selective about the cases we treat at our general dentistry office, we can address minor crowding and misalignment effectively with this modern solution.

Teeth Whitening
We offer several types of tooth whitening options depending on your individual needs. From easy, on-the-go trays, to traditional custom trays, to in-house KOR whitening sessions for antibiotic stained teeth, we’ve got your whitening needs covered!

Cosmetic Dentistry
For those seeking cosmetic improvements, Dr. Brown provides a range of options, including bonding for small chips or wear, as well as more extensive smile makeovers with veneers. She has completed various continuing education courses to enhance her cosmetic outcomes, ensuring that we can effectively meet your aesthetic goals. Our services also include teeth whitening and Invisalign, all designed to enhance the beauty of your smile and boost your self-esteem.

Teeth Replacement
For those experiencing edentulism (or missing teeth), we provide several replacement options. Bridges involve two or more crowns on either side of a missing tooth with a prosthetic (or fake) tooth in the middle, mimicking the appearance of a natural tooth. We also offer both partial and full dentures, working with a skilled local denture lab to minimize adjustments. While Dr. Brown does not place dental implants, we frequently perform restoration procedures for implants and offer implant-retained dentures. Treatment options will be tailored to your specific needs and discussed during your visit.
